Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions related to it, the International Trade Fair of Racing Pigeons EXPOGołębie are open to participants who (to the best of their knowledge):

  • are not infected with COVID-19;
  • do not have any symptoms of COVID-19 such as shortness of breath, increased body temperature and symptoms of a cold;
  • are not in quarantine or under epidemiological surveillance;
  • have not had direct contact with a person infected with COVID-19 within the last 10 days prior to the event and meet one of the following conditions:
      • have been vaccinated against COVID-19 with a vaccine approved for marketing in the European Union, i.e. to have received the required number of doses of the vaccine at least 14 days before the event and to present a valid EU digital COVID certificate in electronic or paper form are a different equivalent certificate (issued by a third country - outside the European Union) at the entrance to the event;
      • have recovered from COVID-19 within the last 6 months and will show proof of such a status at the entrance to the event (EU COVID Certificate);
      • have tested negative for COVID-19, are in possession of the relevant test result (with the test having been taken not earlier than 48h prior to the event) and will produce it at the entrance to the event (paper or electronic version with a negative test score).

    On 07-09 January 2022, during the International Trade Fair of Racing Pigeons EXPOGołębie, in front of the entrance from ul. Olimpijska, it will be possible to test for COVID 19. The tests are performed by the LAB-MED Medical Laboratory entered into the Government Register of COVID * laboratories, with the use of Abbott's professional Panbio ™ tests (painless, plaque nasal swab). Receipt of the result within 30 minutes of taking the swab, in the form of a QR code available in the mobile application - "mObywatel" or in the form of a printout of the result collected in person on the spot. Participants of the Event must submit a completed referral for download before the examination or on the website of the event organizer.

1. Where can I register my participation?

Registration is carried out via the event’s website.

2. Can I sign up another way?

It is not possible to register otherwise than by the website.

3. How long will registration be open

Registration will be open to January 9, 2022.

4. How can I register?

To register you need to provide your first name, last name and email address or phone number (the data you enter during registration must match the data of the participant who will appear at the event).

5. How can I purchase a ticket?

All registered participants will be given the opportunity to purchase a ticket for the 70th National Racing Pigeon Show organized by The Polish Association of Breeders of Racing Pigeons. After completing and accepting the registration form, the participant will be taken to a page where there will be a "BUY TICKET" option.

6. Is participation in the event free of charge?

Thanks to The Polish Association of Breeders of Racing Pigeons, participation in the event is free for: women, children under 18 years old (accompanied by an adult), exhibitors and media (journalists and editorial staff and associates).
Please note that exhibitors and media have a separate registration form.

7. How much does a ticket cost?

Tickets for the 70th National Racing Pigeon Show organized by The Polish Association of Breeders of Racing Pigeons can be purchased upon registration.

Price for the carnet (7-9 January 2022) is PLN 90 + PLN 2 (transaction fee - for online tickets).
Price for the ticket (one day) is PLN 30 + PLN 2 (transaction fee - for online tickets).

There is a possibility to buy a collector's ticket or a ticket with a "pack a gift" option - these options are additionally paid. Above services available only when purchasing online.

8. Is it possible to buy a ticket during the event?

Yes, it is possible. Buying a ticket for the 70th National Racing Pigeon Show will be possible at the box office - payment by cash or card.

9. What should I bring with me on the day of the event?

Participant: If you purchased your ticket online, please present it on the day of the event (on your phone/tablet) or a print.

Exhibitor/media: Please present the barcode received (on your phone/tablet) or a print.

10. Where will the event be held?

This year's edition of the event will be held at the International Congress Centre in Katowice.

The International Congress Centre is located in the heart of the city, next to the legendary Spodek sports and entertainment hall. Together with the Silesian Museum and the seat of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, it forms the "Culture Zone" - a new city space eagerly used by tourists and residents of Katowice and the Silesian Agglomeration.

11. How to reach to The International Conference Centre?

By car

The location of the ICC near highways A4 and A1 makes it easy to reach from many places within Poland and Europe. Numerous car parks in the vicinity allow convenient access to the facility.

In 15 minutes by foot (2.5 km)
By taxi from Plac Oddziałów Młodzieży Powstańczej or ul. Młyńska.
By tram from the Katowice Dworzec PKP stop. Take lines T2, T11, T13, T23, or T43 to the Katowice Rondo stop (8 min.)

By tram and bus

The bus and tram stops closest to the International Conference Centre are "Katowice Rondo", "Katowice Spodek", and "Katowice Uniwersytecka".

By plane

The International Conference Centre is 30 km from the Katowice airport. Travel from the airport to the ICC by car takes around half an hour. Taxis from the airport cost around PLN 100, and buses around PLN 30). When taking a bus from the Katowice airport, you can get off at stops Katowice Sokolska (1 km from the ICC), or Katowice Hotel Novotel (850 m from the ICC).

The proximity of international airports in Kraków Balice (70 km, around 50 min.) and Ostrava (130 km, around 1.2h) make the ICC easy to reach from many destinations in Poland, Europe, and beyond.
